Head out from Jarková street toward the centre of Veľký Šariš. Down Sabinovská street across the bridge near St James church, on to the brewery complex by the railway station. Total 1 km on urban roads. Park the scooter at the brewery, take a tour or grab a beer at the brewery restaurant. After returning, loop through the old town — church, square, castle viewpoint.

Important: Šariš Brewery doesn't have walk-in visitor hours. Tours are by advance booking only (groups of 10+), or on the Open Day (first Saturday of September, over 11,000 visitors). Otherwise, grab a beer at restaurants in Veľký Šariš old town.

Šariš Brewery
East Slovakia's most famous brewery. First brew on 26 May 1967. Today 28% of the Slovak market, 11 times awarded by Monde Selection. Since 2017 part of the Asahi Group (Japan). Pale 10° / 11° / 12° lager, dark 11°, Šariš Unikát. Unpasteurised „tankový Šariš" straight from the brewery.
14th-century St James church
Gothic church near the bridge, dominant of historic Veľký Šariš centre. EuroVelo 11 cycle path passes right by it. The bridge across the Torysa river is the official cycle path waypoint. Open to public during the day, photo of the castle through the church tower.
Šariš Castle viewpoint
From town you can see the Šariš Castle ruin (570 m a.s.l.) on its hill. Best view from Sabinovská street at the town entrance. In clear weather you can also see the reconstructed Donjon tower. For the photo, frame your bicycle with the castle in the distance — classic Šariš shot.

Kugoo G4
The most powerful in the fleet — biggest range and best comfort. This short brewery trip barely dents the battery, so you've got plenty in reserve to chain on a harder route the same day.
Kugoo G2
Everyday all-rounder. Pneumatic tires give a smooth ride on flat, with more range than you'll need on this short brewery trip.
Kugoo G3
More powerful with longer range. If you want to combine the brewery with the Sarus cycle bridge or Šarišské Michaľany in one day, the G3 has range to spare.

Beer and a scooter — clear rules.
Slovak law: 0.00‰ alcohol limit on an e-scooter (treated as a bicycle — zero tolerance). Beer and scooter on the same day means a clear rule for us:
- Maximum 1 small beer (10°), then minimum 1.5 h rest and a meal before riding back.
- Or have a non-alcoholic Birell (Šariš brewery offers it) and ride normally.
- Or leave the scooter at the brewery (we provide the lock, by arrangement) and take public transport / taxi back.
- Or call us and we'll come pick you and the scooter up by car (free within 10 km, otherwise by arrangement).
When returning a scooter with a clear rule violation (alcohol on breath) we charge the full €100 deposit. In case of an accident under the influence, insurance doesn't cover, the rider takes full liability. This isn't a game.

Brewery tour
Groups of 10+ via advance booking (saris.sk website or brewery directly). Lasts ~90 min — brewhouse, fermenters, bottling line, tasting. Around €10/person. Mensa Slovakia organises public excursions in summer.
Open Day
Traditionally first Saturday of September from 11:00. Over 11,000 visitors. Rich music programme, beer competitions, extra public transport from Prešov. Free entry. Best date for a visit.
Town restaurants
If the brewery isn't open, you'll find Šariš on tap at restaurants on Veľký Šariš main square (5 min from the rental). Classic Slovak cuisine, local prices, fresh unpasteurised Šariš.

Ideal day: morning route Ponds + Cycle Bridge (easy, 4.5 km), lunch at brewery/restaurant, afternoon stroll in centre. 4-5 hours total, perfect Šariš weekend.
